My love life has taken me back to Laramie. Joel and I are getting married in May, thus removing the 4 year long-distance part of our relationship! Hooray.
With the move came a new job, I am now the new Arts Education Specialist for the Wyoming Arts Council. If you're in the state, I look forward to working with you. If you're not, I'd still like to know what you're up to with regard to your art and mine.
*Solo exhibition at CFAC in Rock Springs*
Join me for a solo exhibition of prints and books at the Community Fine Art Center in Rock Springs, Wyoming. The exhibition will run August 6 - 31 with closing reception on Friday, August 31 from 4:30 - 6:30pm. Hope to see you there!
*Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts, April 2012*
Several months into this position, I've updated, streamlined and improved the residency program here at Brush Creek Ranch. The website was a labor of love that I am proud to share with prospective artists-in-residence. www.brushcreekarts.org
My own studio practice has turned to making books more than prints and I'm okay with that-- I'm still working!
Check out our website to see who graced the walls of our studios, or if you're interested in applying, follow the links to our application. On our blog is a guest post by talented writer Leland Cheuk, who made me think about my own surroundings and interaction with our world.
Life is good!
